This is a real honey bee (Apis mellifera) that's been preserved in Glow-in-the-dark resin and set on a pedant in your choice of brass, silver or copper finish. You also choose the clasp style and chain length. This handmade jewelry is an excellent gift for a beekeeper or gardener, or just for everyday wear.

No bees were harmed. Worker bees have an average lifespan of about 5-6 weeks. When they pass away inside the hive, other bees push them out onto the ground where they are collected for jewelry making.

This oval cabochon measures 18x25mm. The full pendant measures about 30x40mm. I make these to order. You choose metal tone, chain length, and clasp style at checkout (See additional photos for examples.) The glow lasts forever. If it starts to dim, simply hold it up to a light source for a few seconds to recharge it.

Please note that due to these cabochons being made with real insects, some natural small variation in size, coloring and positioning will occur.
